Hi, I am Hannes Hennche, the founder of Wellthy Capital, a private multifamily real estate investment firm with a vision to help people to be financially free and enable them on the path to wellth: “wealth and wellbeing”. As a former Michelin star restaurant chef and the founder of two companies in New York, I realized exchanging my time for money was not going to make me wealthy or give me the freedom to lead a quality life. Wellthy Capital started as my own endeavor to be financially independent, and to pursue my mission of the Yoga Freedom Fund that enables yoga teachers with financial literacy.
My real estate journey started with single family homes that my parents owned. While it gave us that additional source of income, it came with its hassle. With a decade of education and investment experience with several asset classes, I believe Multifamily Real Estate to be the most resilient vehicle to achieve financial freedom in less than 5 years’ time (especially during financial crisis times such as in 08-09, and during covid).
It is a feel good business with a ripple effect that goes beyond the returns it makes for the passive investors, operating partners, and vendors. The essential value is generated by improving the quality of life of the communities living in the properties, and optimizing the resources used on the property for higher efficiencies.
We have a portfolio of 790+ multi-family apartments, which cash flows about 8-10% and has a projected annualized return of ~15-25%. Our fund invests with top-performing deal operators who have at-least $500Mn of assets under management and strong track record of over delivering investor returns. Our extended team consists of brokers, chartered financial analysts, certified public accountant, tax consultants, tax lawyers. Our coach Brad Sumrok is a mentee of industry leaders like Tony Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki, Tom Wheelwright, and Grant Cardone.
