The Millionaire Real Estate Investor introduces you to the real estate industry, including why it’s a worthwhile investment. Subsequent chapters in the book explain how to find properties and analyze whether they’re worth buying, find financing for your purchases, maintain your properties once you’ve bought them, and deal with tenants.
Each chapter ends with “Take Action” sections that tell you what steps you can take immediately to apply what you’ve learned from that chapter in your life as a real estate investor.
The book also contains an appendix with information about the tax laws in your state regarding real estate investments.
If you’ve NEVER invested in real estate, this book makes it easy to understand what you need to know. It’s written in a friendly, conversational style that makes the material fun and easy to digest.
2. The Art of Commercial Real Estate by Anthony Grosso and Chris Palermo
The Art of Commercial Real Estate is a commercial real estate market primer. It covers all the essentials, from what it is to how to invest in it.
The book starts by defining commercial real estate and explaining how it differs from residential real estate. The book covers commercial properties: office buildings, shopping malls, industrial parks, etc. The book then covers financing options for all these property types and their financing methods.
If you’re a real estate investor, prospective buyer, or real estate investor who wants to learn more about the industry but doesn’t want to spend hours reading dense textbooks, this book is for you. It’s easy to understand and full of illustrations that make it even easier.
